Gold Ribbon Award

 ASHRAE has established the Gold Ribbon Award and Certificate for chapters and historians that accomplish certain goals to the satisfaction of the regional historian and regional director.  The Gold Ribbon is awarded to the chapter for mounting on their chapter banner.   The certificate is awarded to the chapter historian.  The awards are made annually at the CRC.
 
The chapter historian must first prepare a history of a chapter.  Then, the historian has the option to write a history of a company, a history of a person, and a history of a system.
