David Fisher, P.E., is president of PolarSoft Inc., a Pittsburgh-based software company that specializes in BACnet software development, consulting and interactive marketing technology. He was a charter voting member of ASHRAE's SPC135P and has been very active in the development of the BACnet Standard (ANSI/ASHRAE 135-1995) since its inception, serving until July 2000 on the SSPC-135 standing committee.
