Operations and Performance Management Professional Certification

ASHRAE has developed the Operations & Performance Management Professional (OPMP) program in close collaboration with APPA and GSA. Candidates who earn the OPMP certification will have demonstrated a well-rounded understanding and knowledge of the management of facility operations and maintenance and their impact on HVAC&R systems' performance.

The OPMP examination is $295 for ASHRAE members and $415 for non-members.

View Some Sample Exam Items

  1. Read the Guidebook . The Guidebook contains important information related to the examination, eligibility requirements, and other aspects of the OPMP program.
  2. Complete the Application.
  3. After ASHRAE approves your application, you will receive information about how to register for the OPMP examination at a testing center worldwide
    You must register for and take the examination within 90 days of the approval of your application. In the U.S., most testing centers are in H&R Block offices
