ASHRAE seeks a manager for the Society's American and International standards programs. This individual will be the liaison for various committees and assist in the development of standards. This position serves as the key contact with ASHRAE legal counsel regarding standards-related legal issues and oversees the appeals process. B.S. degree in engineering or science is required. Good judgment, tact and effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience in development and/or application of consensus standards or codes. Ability to manage Standards Section staff of 10 or more to accomplish broadly stated mission. Ability to work effectively with volunteers and other organizations.
