ASHRAE’s image is larger than life in the building industry, but now it’s literally larger than life – in Times Square.
As part of the Society’s public relations campaign centered around Earth Day, the ASHRAE logo, along with a news headline, is appearing on the Reuters billboard in Times Square. From April 21 to 24, ASHRAE’s materials will be displayed several times each day during the morning and evening rush hours.
This display is in conjunction with an Earth Day package with PR Newswire, which entailed distributing a feature article with consumer-oriented energy-saving tips for the summer months. The article, bundled with other environmental Earth-Day articles, was also sent to reporters and editors through a separate news distribution service and has already appeared in the Tampa Tribune.
