Cost Effective for Multiple Users

ASHRAE offers a network version of ASHRAE Standards and Guidelines on CD for use by several individuals. This is a separate product from the workstation CD and can be installed on a network for multiple users.

The CD contains the complete library of standards and guidelines that have been produced by ASHRAE.

Multi-user pricing is based on the number of simultaneous users. There is no limit on the number of people who use the product or how often. The only limit is on how many people can use it at the same time. Refer to the following table for one-time, flat rate pricing.

The following are system requirements for the ASHRAE Standards and Guidelines Network Edition CD-ROM server installation:

• Intel® Pentium® III Processor
• Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or 2003 Server
• 512 MB of RAM
• Microsoft® Internet Explorer
• Adobe Acrobat/Reader 7.0 or higher (Adobe Reader 7.0 is included on the CD-ROM. Adobe Acrobat/Reader must be installed before installing ASHRAE Standards and Guidelines)
• CD-ROM drive
• 800 MB of available hard-disk space
  

The difference between network and workstation pricing is that only a single individual is licensed to use the workstation CD, whereas network pricing allows several individuals to use the product.

Upon completion of the order, ASHRAE will send a network CD encoded with access for the number of multiple, simultaneous users purchased.
