Members now have the opportunity to cast votes online for Society officers and directors and to vote on proposed bylaws amendments. All voting members of ASHRAE who have valid e-mail addresses will receive an e-mail with a Web link to access the ballot. Members will receive their e-mail notice around April 9.
If you prefer to receive a paper ballot, you can request one in response to the e-mail notice you receive. Or you can contact Membership and Customer Service manager Ashley Pruett at membership@ashrae.org or 678-539-1127 and a ballot will be mailed to you.
Voting members who do not have valid e-mail addresses will receive paper ballots as has been done in the past. These ballots will be mailed on April 9.
Paper recipients and electronic voters will be given instructions on how to log in and vote. Questions should be directed to membership@ashrae.org or 678-539-1127.
Members will also be given the opportunity to vote during the ASHRAE 2007 Annual Meeting in Long Beach. Polls will be open Friday through Sunday, June 22–24, during registration hours in the Meeting Registration area at the hotel.
