Grand Rapids, Mich.—Lisa Kallemeyen, an engineering student at Hope College, Holland Mich., recently received the Society’s Alwin B. Newton Scholarship for 2007–2008. She was presented the award by Chris Bonzheim, Western Michigan Chapter president. Kallemeyen receives a one-year $3,000 scholarship, which is awarded to an undergraduate student who meets the criteria of the Society’s Scholarship Program. She accepted the scholarship during Ferris State University’s student design competition presentations at FSU, Big Rapids, Mich.
