The following members were approved for advancement to Member grade during the May 9 meeting of the Admissions and Advancement Committee. Brendan Light, Central Pennsylvania Chapter Duane Markey, Central Pennsylvania Chapter Bryan Ondrasik, Central Pennsylvania Chapter Mark Pontz, Central Pennsylvania Chapter Michael Shafer, Central Pennsylvania Chapter Robert Sells, Central Pennsylvania Chapter Jonathan Slagel, Central Pennsylvania Chapter Mark Tome, Central Pennsylvania Gregory Turner, Southern Piedmont Chapter Paula Marques, Birmingham Chapter Adam Bare, Atlanta Chapter Arnold Luallen, Detroit Chapter Larry Evans, Hampton Roads Chapter James Forester, Golden Gate Chapter Scott Fitch, Connecticut Chapter The requirements for advancement are that a Member have the equivalent of 12 Society-approved years of experience composed of an approved combination of: 1) completed education beyond high school; 2) work experience; and 3) professional engineering or related registration or license issued by a legally authorized body. Applicants approved for advancement receive a $20 incentive coupon that can be used for the purchase of ASHRAE logo merchandise, annual dues or publications.
