ATHENS, Greece—The Hellenic Chapter held its annual meeting, followed by a technical program on Cogeneration and Absorption Chillers on May 24. The joint meeting with the Hellenic Association for the Cogeneration of Heat and Power (HACHP) was attended by 132 people.
The program included two technical presentations. The first one on “Generation of Heat, Power & Cold – An investment challenge or a need?” was given by Dimitris Galanakis, General Manager (Secretary of HACHP) and Giorgos Skarpetis, Sales Manager, TEMA ENERGY Ltd. The second, “Absorption Chillers—operating Principles and Applications,” was given by Vasilis Iliadis, Sales Manager, ENERGA Ltd.
The meeting was followed by a buffet dinner and social hour. Attendees had also a chance to meet the chapter sponsors that have reached fourteen leading HVAC and related companies, and to obtain up-to-date technical information.
