BOISE, Idaho—2006–07 ASHRAE President Terry Townsend delivered the keynote lunch message at the Idaho Chapter’s Building Design Conference on Sustainability, May 16.
Townsend called for all at the well-attended conference to take responsibility for turning around the environmental and atmospheric degradation that has been trending progressively upward over the recent past.
He delivered a motivational speech titled Carry the Fire of the ASHRAE Promise: A Sustainable Future.
He spoke on developments and involvements that ASHRAE has internationally, nationally and locally.
Townsend was invited to return to report on progress toward a sustainable future through ASHRAE and its programs and research.
