As part of ASHRAE’s effort to renovate its Atlanta Headquarters as a sustainable building, office supplies and furnishings were recycled.

ASHRAE donated white boards, metal storage racks, printers, projector screens, etc., to three local schools. In addition, other office supplies and electronic equipment were donated to nonprofit agencies or recycled, including ceiling tiles given to a quilting group.

So, you ask "what the heck would a quilting group do with ceiling tiles?” The quilting group adheres the ceiling tiles to walls in the quilting store so that they can pin up their projects to help visualize their finished pieces.
