Robert E. Ahlf
Life Member; 86; 2904 Bellemeade Ave., Evansville, IN 47714; joined ASRE in 1953.

Jack Boyd Buckley
Fellow/Life Member; 81; 10047 Del Monte Dr., Houston, TX 77042; joined ASHVE in 1948. He received theJack Boyd Buckley Distinguished Service Award and the Distinguished 50-Year Member Award. Mr. Buckley served on the Board of Directors as a director at large from 1996-1999. He was active on numerous Society committees, including the Code Interaction Subcommittee of Technology Council, the Environmental Health Committee, a presidential ad hoc committee on refrigerant-related code changes, IAQ Conference steering committees and technical committees. He is a past president of the Houston Chapter.  Known as an “engineer’s engineer,” Mr. Buckley was involved in the design of the air-conditioning system for the first domed stadium – the Houston Astrodome.

Ellsworth F. 'Cass' Cassing
Life Member; 87; 8703 W. 76th St., Overland Park, KS 66204; joined ASHVE in 1950. Mr. Cassing was the recipient of the ASHRAE-ALCO Award in 1991. The award recognized Mr. Cassing’s distinguished public service, which included serving numerous local organizations, developing and presenting some 200 educational, entertaining and inspirational audio/visual programs entitled “Sparklers,” which communicated messages effectively for those organizations as well as for chapter meetings. At the Society level, he served as chairman of the Membership Committee and on the Energy and Technical Committee. He is a past president of the Kansas City Chapter.
