ASHRAE Insights

The International Compressor Engineering Conference and the International Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Conference have announced a call for papers.

The conferences, sponsored by Purdue University and cosponsored by ASHRAE, take place July 14–17, 2008 in West Lafayette, Ind., at Purdue University.

A 500-word abstract on a topic for either conference is requested by Dec. 17, 2007. Abstracts should be submitted in English using the Web site at www.conftool.com/2008Purdue.

Notification will be as follows:
• January 14, 2008, acceptance or rejection of abstracts
• April 16, 2008, manuscripts due
• May 19, 2008, acceptance or rejection of manuscripts

The conferences run simultaneously, so registration for either conference allows attendance at both conferences. Advance registration fee is $650.  After May 31, 2008 registration is $700.
