Claire Ramspeck, ASHRAE’s assistant director of technology for standards and special projects, has been named vice chair of the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) Executive Standards Council.

The ANSI Executive Standards Council is an ANSI Program Oversight committee that reports to the ANSI National Policy Committee of the ANSI Board of Directors.

The Council is charged with responsibilities that apply to both the American National Standards process and to U.S. participation in those international standards activities in which ANSI participates.

Ramspeck has been a member of the ANSI Executive Standards Council since 2006 and previously served as chair of the ANSI Board of Standards Review.
