FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The Ft. Wayne chapter claims to be the Society’s most enjoyable chapter. A recent meeting featured a tour of an ice rink’s mechanical refrigeration systems. They also had fun. Chapter Secretary Bill Bissmeyer raced on skates against Jim Morris, who is the local SMACNA president. Bissmeyer said he was just glad the ice was thick. Ft. Wayne has consistently led Region V in meeting attendance.
