The following members were approved for advancement to Member grade during the Nov. 14 meeting of the Admissions and Advancement Committee. Elaine Carr, Northern Alberta Chapter Gregory Drensky, Akron/Canton Chapter Jose Herrera, Golden Gate Chapter Edwin Hornfeck, Rocky Mountain Chapter Dae Jin, Memphis Chapter Ken Jurgensmeyer, Dallas Chapter Brian Kaupp, Florida West Coast Chapter Wan Fuk Lin, Hong Kong Chapter Douglas Martin, Maine Chapter Gregory McMeans, Houston Chapter Quenten Meyer, Iowa Chapter Michael Monahan, Gold Coast Chapter John O’Brien, Cincinnati Chapter Paul O’Neill, Golden Gate Chapter Timothy Page, Nashville Chapter David Patterson, Dayton Chapter Jeffrey Ross, Florida West Coast Chapter Damian Smith, Rocky Mountain Chapter Kenneth Tursam, Triangle Chapter The requirements for advancement are that a Member have the equivalent of 12 Society-approved years of experience composed of an approved combination of completed education beyond high school; work experience; and professional engineering or related registration or license issued by a legally authorized body. Applicants approved for advancement receive a $20 incentive coupon that can be used for the purchase of ASHRAE logo merchandise, annual dues or publications.
