VANCOUVER, BC, Canada—The British Columbia Chapter sponsored a tour for British Columbia Institute of Technology students to Ecco Manufacturing at its February meeting. Norm Grusnick, P.Eng., Ecco Manufacturing and RVC Research Region XI (pictured third from left) conducted the tour of the sheet metal manufacturing plant in Langley. The students saw firsthand a variety of sheet metal products being made including in-slab, spiral, oval and a variety of elbows and fittings and learned the typical dimensions of stock items to assist in their designs. Joe Cheung, BCIT instructor, ASHRAE chapter board member, organized the students on the tour.
