ASHRAE Insights

EVANSVILLE, Ill.—The Evansville Chapter toured the mechanical rooms and air handling units on the roof of the renovated and new IVY TECH Community College building. The system is chilled water with condensing gas boilers for heat and a 200-ton heat reclaim chiller for reheat used by VAV unit reheat coils. Excess heat is removed by a conventional cooling tower.
