CHICAGO—The Illinois Chapter Scholarship Committee recently presented winners of 2007 Scholarship Awards.

Each year the committee reviews applications and chooses the top students with an interest in engineering for awards.

The chapter awarded a total of $9,000 in scholarships to the following undergraduate students:
• Brinton John Callaghan, Evanston, Ill., Washington University-St.Louis, M.E. Junior;
• Lynette Hromada, Lansing, Ill., Calvin College-Grand Rapids, Mich., M.E. Junior;
• Tim Shinnick, Chicago, Ill., University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind., M.E. Senior;
• Ben Talbott, Glencoe, Ill., Southern Methodist University, Dallas, M.E./Math Senior;
• Kevin Kanhirun, Gurnee, Ill., Northern Illinois Univ. (Peoria), ME Freshman;
• Patrick A. Green, Chicago, Ill., Truman College & University Illinois-Chicago, M.E. Junior;
• Christine Hromada, Lansing, Ill., Calvin College-Grand Rapids, MI., Math-Science- Engineering, Freshman; and
• Bryan W. Svec, Lake Bluff, Ill., Purdue University-W. Lafayette, Ind, C.E. Junior.
