Qingyan (Yan) Chen is a vice president of Indoor Air 2005 and a professor of mechanical engineering at Ray W. Herrick Laboratories, School of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA.

Xianting Li is a professor at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Volume 12, Number 3c, of HVAC&R Research contains a select group of significantly expanded papers from Indoor Air 2005, the 10th International Conference on Indoor Air Quality and Climate, which convened September 4-9, 2005, in Beijing, China.
