Print This  Email This

ASHRAE’s digital documents have built-in copyright protection with some restrictions on how you can use them. After your purchase, you will receive an email within a few minutes explaining the download process. The same ASHRAE account used for the purchase must be used for downloading and opening the document. For more details, please see below:

Document Features:

  • Each document is a PDF that can be installed on up to two separate computers at the same time.
  • All digital purchases will be kept in an online archive that you can access for download at any time from any location.
  • Digital documents use a plug-in called "FileOpen" that can be obtained when you download the PDF.
  • Digital documents can be printed, but cannot be edited or copied.
  • Digital documents can be used on Windows 2000, XP, and Vista; Mac OS X workstation; and Linux operating systems.
  • Digital documents can only be opened using Adobe Reader or Professional.
  • Digital documents cannot be shared on a network, or distributed to more than two people.
