Time demands on HVAC&R practitioners are greater than ever so they must efficiently manage their time. That is why surveys show online learning opportunities continuing to grow in popularity. Earning Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) is required to be licensed as a Professional Engineer. Each state has its own requirements for the hours needed annually to maintain the PE license. To meet the needs of these busy professionals, ASHRAE Learning Institute (ALI) produces a series of online seminars for the Fall and Spring “semesters.” Six courses are offered each semester.
