George C. Briley ASHRAE Journal Article Award

The George C. Briley ASHRAE Journal Article Award was awarded by the Refrigeration Committee to Amey Majgaonkar for his article "Controlling Corrosion in Marine Refrigeration Systems". This articles was judged by the committee as the best refrigeration-related ASHRAE Journal article published during the 2010-2011 Society year. Each Society year, the committee reviews the Journal for articles appropriate for this award, named after ASHRAE Fellow and Life Member George C. Briley. Briley contributed nearly 30 articles to the ASHRAE Journal on various refrigeration topics including refrigerants, refrigeration system chemistry, project-specific engineered refrigeration systems, and refrigeration applications.
