Tech Council - Technology Focus Activity

Building Performance Metrics

A Steering Committee, appointed by Tech Council, has been established to take responsibility for the planning, policy, and monitoring of the implementation of programs, publications, and other activities related to Building Performance Metrics.   The Committee has been instituted for a 3 year period, will coordinate with SP 2006, and will report on the progress in this area at each Tech Council meeting.

Several Special Projects will be conducted under the auspices of this Steering Committee including the Carbon Emissions Calculations Tool project and the Performance Measurement Protocols project.

Building Information Modeling & Interoperability

A Steering Committee, appointed by Tech Council, has been established to take responsibility for the planning, policy, and monitoring of the implementation of programs, publications, and other activities related to Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Interoperability.   The Committee has been instituted for a 3 year period, will coordinate with SP 2006, and will report on the progress in this area at each Tech Council meeting.

The Steering Committee will be a technical resource on BIM and Interoperability and provide oversight and coordination for projects conducted by TC 7.1, TC 1.5, GPC 20, and others.
