Strategic Plan for Research

ASHRAE 2010-2015 Research Strategic Plan Draft
   Public Review Open Until 2.22.10

A new research strategic plan will guide ASHRAE research for the next five years. The plan outlines ASHRAE’s research goals for the next five years. It centers on sustainability, which is defined as "the concept of maximizing the effectiveness of resource use while minimizing the impact of that use on the environment."

The first public review draft of the 2010-2015 Research Strategic Plan is now available and comments are requested by February 22, 2010.

Request for Proposals for ASHRAE Research

ASHRAE is pleased to solicit proposals for 5 new research projects and 1 re-bid project. The research project titles are listed below.

Proposals are due May 17, 2010. The projects are scheduled to begin September 1, 2010. Project 1596-TRP is scheduled to begin July 15, 2010.

Copies of requests-for-proposal (RFPs) are linked to the title list and may be downloadable or printed from this site.

**Prior to preparing a proposal, please review the sample ASHRAE Research Agreement and General Conditions found on the Research page of the ASHRAE website. If your contracting officer cannot accept this Agreement, please contact us prior to bidding.
