The world’s largest gathering of HVAC&R professionals is taking place this January in Las Vegas.

Not a member of ASHRAE? Did you know that if you register to attend the Winter Conference as a “non-member” or “first time attendee non-member” you will receive complimentary ASHRAE membership for a year?

To obtain membership, an application form must be submitted when you register for the Winter Conference or within 60 days following the Conference. For assistance please contact customer service at 404-636-8400.  A staff member will be present in Las Vegas at the Membership Desk during registration hours to assist you as well.

NEW Personal Scheduler

The Personal Scheduler allows users to create their own itinerary for the conference by selecting programs to attend, skip, or read about later. Search or browse events, create your schedule, check it for conflicts, record notes, and sync to your mobile device just before the conference. 

“Today’s HVAC&R profession is facing challenges unlike those from the past,” Leon Shapiro, Conference chair, said. “The rapidity with which technology advances the modeling, design, equipment, systems, construction and operation of the buildings we deal with, along with the speed with which climate change is significantly altering the conditions around which we design, are creating problems for today’s ASHRAE members. Learn about new technologies and earn continuing education credit when you participate in ASHRAE Learning Institute (ALI) courses offered at the 2017 ASHRAE Winter Conference and AHR Expo. The schedule of courses includes five Seminar and 15 Short Courses. New Seminars include Cogeneration from the Basics through Construction & Operation; Complying with Standard 90.1-2016; and Complying with the Requirements of Standard 62.1-2016. New Short Courses include New ASHRAE-Classified Refrigerants to Meet Society’s Changing Needs; Variable Refrigerant Flow Design and Application; Complying with Standard 90.1-2016 Appendix G; and Design of Affordable and Efficient Ground Source Heat Pump Systems.

Meeting Room Request Forms

New for the Winter Conference in Las Vegas is an electronic meeting request form for technical committees (TCs) and Standard Project Committees (SPCs). Please click the links below to request a meeting room. Requests must be submitted by October 7. You will receive a confirmation email once you have submitted the form. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your request may not have been received. Contact meetings@ashrae.org with any questions.
