YEA Leadership International

Interested in a weekend of networking, leadership coaching, and fun? This event is an opportunity for you – the future leaders of ASHRAE – to learn more about Society, develop soft skills, and network with other young professionals. Any YEA member is encouraged to register. Topics that will be discussed include:

  • Understanding the big picture
  • Personal goals that go way beyond work
  • What managers and leaders actually do
  • How to stand out at work
  • What successful people have in common

Registration

The 2018 YLW event will take place in the fall and registration will open by early summer. Registration for ASHRAE members will be approximately $300 and includes hotel accommodations for Friday and Saturday, meals during the event (dinner on Friday, all meals on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday), and all necessary materials and resources. Airfare and any ground transportation costs are not included.

Event Schedule

The event will begin on Friday and will end at 12:00pm on Sunday. Below is a tentative schedule for the event:

Friday

  • 2pm-5pm (14:00-17:00): ASHRAE and YEA presentations
  • 6pm-8pm (18:00-20:00): Dinner and social/networking event

Saturday

  • 8am-9am: Breakfast
  • 9am-12pm: Session with facilitator
  • 12pm – 2pm (12:00-14:00): Networking lunch
  • 2pm-5pm (14:00-17:00: Session with facilitator
  • 5pm-8pm (17:00-20:00): Dinner and social/networking event

Sunday

  • 8am-9am: Breakfast
  • 9am-12pm: Session with facilitator
  • 12pm-1pm (12:00-13:00): Lunch

The hotel for this event has not yet been determined.

 

Facilitator

Tricia Evans, Business Coach and Writer. Tricia Evans trained as a Coach at Ashridge Business in UK in 1991, and was the first Business Coach in the UAE. She has coached 5,500+ at Middle to Senior Management levels.
