This November, ASHRAE will present the new course Data Center Design developed by ASHRAE TC 9.9 for Engineer, IT Manager & Facility Staff for the first time in Lisbon, Portugal. This full-day course will take place 20 November 2019. As the demand for lower cost and energy efficient IT services continue to increase, the course examines the required operational changes to data centers to achieve the maximum efficiency within the ASHRAE environmental envelopes of relative humidity, temperature and IT equipment power.

This course is offered in conjunction with HVAC Design Training - Level II: Applications in Lisbon, 21-22 Nov.

    Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy:

    Registration fees will be refunded in full if cancellation is received by ASHRAE Learning Institute at least 30 days prior to the training date. Cancellations received 15–29 days prior to the training date are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Registrants who do not attend the training or who cancel less than 15 days prior to the training date are liable for the entire registration fee.     Demand for IT services that are lower cost, more energy efficient, provide more storage, and offer more computing capabilities results in continued, significant changes in hardware, and as a result its operating conditions. This course examines best practices by focusing on ASHRAE’s evolving thermal guidelines for data processing environments, telecommunications, and actual high-density data centers in operation today. While there are opportunities to save energy in data centers, understanding of equipment trends, performance measurements, and effectiveness are critical to the principal objective:  Data integrity.
