Air-to-air energy recovery provides one of the most cost-effective and efficient ways to recycle waste energy and create superior indoor environments. This course introduces recommendations in the latest ASHRAE and AHRI standards, codes and guidelines with respect to air-to-air energy recovery technology to help determine where and when energy recovery is mandated and why. This course also provides a detailed overview of the most popular commercially available technologies on the market today and explores their construction, psychrometrics, thermodynamic theory of operation, and important operations and maintenance considerations for long life and consistent performance.
