Building EQ Portal

To access the portal to log-in, create an account, join a project, enter submission data, generate reports, or review previously entered information:

Please note the Building EQ Portal is compatible with most browsers. Older browsers (such as Internet Explorer) are not compatible with the Building EQ Portal.


The In Operation evaluation is now available for users.

  1. First time users will need to register.
  2. Users initiating a project will need to set up an account and make themselves administrators.
  3. Multiple projects can be initiated and stored in each account.
  4. Additional users can be invited to work on projects.

The calculated Building EQ Performance Score is displayed in the web portal throughout the input process. An official submission is not necessary to see your score.

For an official Building EQ Performance Score to be reviewed and approved by ASHRAE, the project must be submitted by a credentialed user (BEAPs, BEMPs, and Professional/Chartered Engineers in the jurisdiction where the building is located). Credential users will also have access to several reports. There is a one-time set-up fee to verify credentials.

  • $0 ASHRAE Certified BEAP or BEMP
  • $15 ASHRAE member Professional / Chartered Engineer
  • $25 Non-ASHRAE member Professional / Chartered Engineer

System Outputs:

  • Calculated Building EQ Performance Score – available to all users
  • User Input Report – available to all users
  • Building EQ Label Report – free for credentialed users
  • Building EQ Disclosure Report – COMING SOON
  • ASHRAE Level 1 Energy Audit Report Spreadsheets (Excel) – COMING SOON
