Mini-Conference Highlights Annual Conference Tech Program

The Technical Program for the 2013 ASHRAE Annual Conference will include some notable additions. An Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) mini-conference will take place the first two days of the Conference. IPD is gaining ground on traditional design-bid-build or contractor-at-risk project management scenarios, as successful IPD projects see condensed schedules, on-time delivery, managed costs and sustainable buildings. Also, a newly created Research Summit, held in conjunction with the Technical Program, will bring together distinguished researchers to present and discuss the latest research results, innovative research techniques and forecast future research directions. The remainder of the Technical Program will be segmented into tracks on HVAC&R Systems & Equipment; HVAC&R Fundamentals & Applications; Integrated Project Delivery; Building Energy Modeling vs. Measurement & Verification; Renewable & Alternative Energy Sources; and Mile-High Efficiency & Equipment.
