ASHRAE Schools Partnership Program with DOE and LBNL

ASHRAE, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) are partnering to support ASHRAE Chapter outreach to local education agencies (LEAs) on improving IAQ and energy efficiency in underserved and rural school facilities.

-

About the Schools Partnership Pilot Team:

ASHRAE is working with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) on a multi-pronged effort whereby ASHRAE Pilot Chapters with guidance from ASHRAE’s Schools Leadership Team and support from DOE and LBNL reach out to schools to share technical information on improving the energy and IAQ performance of school facilities as well as federal assistance available.  The program intends to reach out to schools especially in disadvantaged or rural communities or those otherwise underserved.

Why be a part of this program?

  • Opportunity to engage with local, underserved communities in the most need of federal funding for facility upgrades.
  • Earn PAOE points for your chapter.
