    Biography

    Mr. Brown is the Director of Energy Management Programs and Sustainability at Emory
    University and President of KB Squared, where he pursues teaching and
    speaking engagements on energy conservation and sustainability. He has more
    than 30 years of experience in developing building retrofit projects and has developed
    more than $1,000,000,000 in energy savings performance contracts in the MUSH
    (Municipality, University, School, Hospital) and Federal markets all over the United
    States. He serves as a Mentor with the Cox Cleantech Accelerator and is a board
    member and technical advisor to several organizations working to mitigate climate
    change and improve the operating efficiency of buildings. In his current role, he assists
    clients and institutions in achieving and sustaining their energy management and
    decarbonization goals while maintaining excellent indoor environmental quality (IEQ).

    Mr. Brown is an Aerospace Engineer from Auburn University and is proud to serve as
    Vice President and board member for the Energy Management Association (EMA).
    Kevin is also active in ASHRAE, serving as a past Chair of TC 2.8 Building
    Environmental Impacts and Sustainability and serves on the exam committees for
    HBDP and CDP as well as several technical and standards committees.
