Pushpinder Rana, P.Eng., Member ASHRAE, LEED® GA, is the Director of Engineering and Services with Mitsubishi Electric Sales Canada Inc. He has 20+ years of international experience in business development, product management, sales support and service in the HVAC and related product market. Mr. Rana is an exceptional communicator and enthusiastic leader and has earned several industry awards such as the Global Project Best Practice Award, TDR Best Practice Award and the Best Innovation and Business Support Award. Mr. Rana earned his MBA at the University of Manchester, in England and is an active member of ASHRAE Technical Committee (TC) 8.7 which focuses on design, performance, and application of variable refrigerant flow systems (VRF) mainly in the commercial and institutional applications. He is also strongly associated with HRAI, AHRI, CaGBC, MCAC and other leading associations, and one of the leading experts working on A2L transition in Canada, and its harmonization with the US.
