4 High School Senior Scholarships - $3,000 each
These scholarships are available to 4 high school seniors about to enter their first year of undergraduate university.
Scholarships are awarded for the academic year following the application deadline beginning with the fall semester. Re-applications accepted from former scholarship applicants and recipients who meet current criteria.
Eligibility Criteria
At minimum, each applicant must meet the eligibility criteria outlined on Scholarship Program to qualify for any of the ASHRAE Society Scholarships.
Four one-year scholarships available to high school seniors about to enter full time into their first year of college in a pre-engineering, engineering, or engineering technology program leading to a bachelor’s degree in a course of study that traditionally has been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession. Applicants must be high school seniors with a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30% and accepted into an engineering, pre-engineering, or engineering technology program at a post-secondary educational institution that meets at least one of the following criteria:

High school senior applicants must submit a letter of acceptance from the university they plan to attend in the fall following the application deadline.
Instructions and Application
Applications and the following documents must be submitted on or before the application deadline to receive consideration:
- Official transcript of grades. Transcript must either be mailed, sent through an online electronic transfer service, or directly from your registrar’s office on your behalf. Photocopies will not be accepted.
- Letter of admission to a post-secondary educational institution
- Three signed letters of recommendation as follows: one from an instructor or school advisor, one from a current or past employer, and one from another character reference (other than a family member).
