Complying with Standard 90.1-2016: HVAC/Mechanical

Course Length: 3 hours

ASHRAE/IES’s Standard 90.1-2016, Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings, has received a determination issued by the U.S. Department of Energy stating that this standard would achieve greater energy efficiency in commercial buildings subject to the code and that buildings meeting this standard would result in national energy cost savings of approximately 8.2% (as compared to the 2013 edition). Design professionals, code officials, and building owners must now keep up with the new, more stringent requirements to comply with this quickly evolving standard.
