Owner's Project Information
The renovation of ASHRAE’s new global headquarters, provides members of the Atlanta and greater southeast building community the opportunity to participate in one of the industry's most closely-watched and highly publicized projects.
The project entailed the renovation of an existing 66,700 ft2 building, originally built in 1978, on 11 acres in the Technology Park area of Peachtree Corners, GA into a net-zero-energy ready facility. Although new construction of Zero Energy buildings make a lot of headlines, ASHRAE chose to renovate due to reuse of existing structures being a a basic tenet of sustainability.
As a demonstration project, the renovation decisions and process were documented and information can be found on these pages or by contacting us at newhq@ashrae.org.
