Historical Committee

Historical Committee sponsors, encourages and conducts research into the history of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration; encourages authorship and publication of historical articles locates, identifies and determines location for display or availability of items of historical significance; and encourages regional and chapter historians to gather historical information and artifacts. This committee reports to Publishing and Education Council. Staff liaison is Julie Harr (JHarr@ashrae.org).

Leadership Voices
Leadership Voices, formerly Leadership Recall, was launched in the 1980s to capture the unique personal perspectives of Past Presidents and other members of distinction. Interviews, which focus on the society and the HVAC&R industry in general, are filmed on-site during winter or annual conferences.
