Grant-in-Aid Research Award

The Life Members Club donated $20,000 through the RP Campaign to support two Grant-in-Aid Winners.

The winners of these awards were:

  • Rachel Hurley - Worcester Polytechnic Institute
  • Mingyue Guo – Texas A&M University

2025-2026 Travel Award 

The following students attended the 2026 Winter Meeting after receiving a travel award from the Life Members Club:

General Information

The Life Members Club seeks to

  1. Uphold the purposes and objectives of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers as stated in that Society's Certificate of incorporation.
  2. Develop and fund an awards program to support education in the fields of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration.
  3. Promote fellowship within its membership.

Membership

ASHRAE members who have completed 30 years of cumulative membership and have reached age 65 are automatically members of Life Members Club. No member of the Club is required to pay dues.

The Club accomplishes its objectives by obtaining voluntary donations from members.

Meetings

The Life Members Club have a Luncheon Meeting Tuesday at noon during the Winter and Annual meetings.
