Atlanta has hosted the Expo five times, last in 2001. The 2001 Show was the largest Expo held in the South and the second-largest show in terms of exhibit space (395,000 ft2 [36 700 m2]) up to that point.

Since 2001, the industry has evolved, and the Show has grown. But the drive toward innovation has not slowed down.

This year’s Expo is expected to host about 2,000 exhibitors at the Georgia World Congress Center. The net exhibit space is projected to total about 500,000 net ft2 (about 46 452 net m2), which is considerably larger than the 2001 Atlanta Show.
