    Biography

    Michael Patton, Member ASHRAE is currently the Vice President Global Sales for inCTRL Solutions Corp of Salt Lake City, UT.  For more than 25 years, Mr. Patton has been a technical sales leader in the environmental, energy, and water industry. He has more than 40 years of mechanical systems experience, including stints with mechanical contractors and with a manufacturers’ representative.

    Before joining inCTRL Solutions in 2021, Mr. Patton was Executive Vice President of Griswold Water Systems in California and was Vice President of Sales for Evandtec in Toronto, both offering high tech water treatment and filtration solutions.  Previously he served as the General Manager of the Energy and Environment services group for a large contractor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Before that, he was national sales manager and director of Global Sales for Clearwater Systems Corporation.  

    Mr. Patton has been an ASHRAE Member for 15 years and is active on two technical committees related to his field. Currently he serves as the Chair of ASHRAE SPC  188, Legionellosis:  Risk Management for Building Water Systems, and Standard 191P, tasked with crafting a blueprint for efficient use of water in buildings. Mr. Patton was also appointed to the ASHRAE Handbook Committee as Chair for the 2020 HVAC Systems and Equipment Volume and has been serving as Chair of the Society Handbook Committee for the past 2 years.
