    Biography

    Pavel Likhonin, P.E., Member ASHRAE is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) with an integrated Bachelor’s and Master of Architectural Engineering degree. Mr. Likhonin’s passion for delivering projects that not only advance the client’s mission but exceed high performance goals made him a champion for creative, integrated building system solutions. He partners with research institutions to provide industry guidance on emerging, next-generation technologies. Pavel currently serves on the ASHRAE Standing Standard Project Committee (SSPC 170) and has served as the Handbook Subcommittee Chair for TC 9.6 Healthcare Facilities which focuses on the application of ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, life safety, and energy conservation systems to healthcare facilities. Pavel was the chief editor of the Healthcare Chapter for ASHRAE 2019 – HVAC Applications Handbook. He is an active member of the ASHRAE Standard 170 Healthcare Ventilation committee and is a Project Subcommittee Voting Member (PSVM) of the Standards and Correlation Subcommittee. As Department Manager for the Healthcare Mechanical Group, Pavel has extensive experience in troubleshooting, retro-commissioning, energy modeling, central energy plants, infrastructure upgrades, imaging suite renovations/additions, pharmacy upgrades, sterile processing departments, laboratories, and patient areas.
