Artificial intelligence (AI) policy: ASHRAE prohibits the entry of content from any ASHRAE publication or related ASHRAE intellectual property (IP) into any AI tool, including but not limited to ChatGPT. Additionally, creating derivative works of ASHRAE IP using AI is also prohibited without express written permission from ASHRAE.

ASHRAE Adds Three Indian Chapters, One Section

ASHRAE has added three new chapters in India.

Three new ASHRAE chapters were created at the 2019 Fall Members Council Meeting: East India, Rajasthan, and Chandigarh. The addition of these new chapters in India brings the total number of ASHRAE chapters to 195. The new chapters are part of the Region-at-Large.

A new section, Abuja, was also created during the meeting. The ASHRAE Nigeria chapter is the new section’s host chapter. ASHRAE now has 37 sections.
