ATLANTA (May 4, 2015)
– Papers are being sought for CLIMA2016, which takes place May 22-25, Aalborg, Denmark. The abstract deadline is November 2015.

For more information, visit www.clima2016.org.

Organized by DANVAK, the Danish HVAC Society, in cooperation with Aalborg University, the Congress is endorsed by ASHRAE. The first CLIMA congress was held in Copenhagen in 1985 and after more than 30 years it again returns to Denmark.

CLIMA2016 offers an anticipated 1,000 attendees, including researchers, industry, building owners, end users, consultants, engineers, architects and policymakers a platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge and innovative technical solutions. The theme focuses on building and HVAC system performance practice in fulfilment of the intended design, the needs of the occupants and the future of smart energy systems.

The abstract deadline is November 2015, and paper submission deadline is December 2015.

Aalborg is located in a region where focus on new energy efficient technologies for the built environment is dominating. The region includes the city of Frederikshavn, which is planning for renewable energy to supply 100 percent of its energy needs by 2015 and is a demonstration platform for new HVAC and energy technologies in the built environment in new and renovated construction.

Aalborg offers excellent opportunities for real life experience and demonstration of the key role HVAC systems will play in the future in the built environment.
