Decarb 101 - Part One

Part One in a Forthcoming Four-Part Series | This seven-minute video, created by ASHRAE Presidential Member Kent Peterson, is the first in a series of four videos. This series will update you on the progress of building decarbonization and discuss possibilities for near-zero emissions. This video provides an overview of building decarbonization and an introduction to the terminology used in the industry. Future presentations will focus on the global impact, ASHRAE’s involvement and steps on the pathway to decarbonization.

This two-minute video, produced by TFBD executive committee member Clay Nesler, shows practical examples of how improvements consistent with ASHRAE’s recommendations for reducing green house gas (GHG) emissions in buildings can be applied to an existing home. Plus, hear how the renovations have helped reduce his energy bill by over $200 on average each month.
