Dr. Vaibhav Jain has served as the advisor for the MAIT Student Branch since it was chartered in 2019 with fifteen student members. The student branch now has 42 students and has successfully organized a number of events and activities.

Industrial Visits
Professor Jain organized industrial visits to The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI), Gurugram, Hitachi Engineering Excellence Centre, Delhi, Sanelac Consultant Pvt. Ltd., Delhi
Technical Activities
The student branch organized a National Seminar on 'Energy, Environment and Sustainability' and a one day workshop on 'BIM (Building Information Modeling) for HVAC' as well as a Symposium on 'Nascent Mechanical Techniques for Global Challenges of Sustainability' in association with ASHRAE India Chapter.
Social Events
The MAIT Student Branch organized a variety of events like the 'Internal Cricket Match' and the 'Inter Quiz Competition' organized by ASHRAE India Chapter.
Recruitment and Internships
Due to Professor Jain's untiring efforts the branch now has 42 student members. Many have secured summer internships and recent graduates were placed in jobs in the HVAC&R industry.
