Know Before You Go

Don’t Miss the Innovation

From AHR Today, 2020

ORLANDO—Get ready to walk.

Tomorrow marks the opening of the 2020 AHR Expo in Orlando, Fla. This year’s Show is expected to spread across about 500,000 ft2 (46 452 m2) at the Orange County Convention Center.

Amid rows of boilers, air-conditioning systems and building materials, innovative products will fill the Show floor, which is contained in one exhibit hall this year. Many of the displayed technologies address hot topics for the HVAC&R industry, including the transition to low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants, connectivity and automation and skilled workers in the trades. About 1,900 exhibitors are expected to showcase their latest innovations and products.

Products are expected to fill in the nooks and crannies of the convention center. The Show floor’s walkways could even rival the traffic patterns of the host city’s theme parks!

While the size of the Show can be daunting, there is a tool that ensures you see what you want to see at the world’s largest HVAC&R marketplace. Download the free 2020 AHR Expo app—available on the mobile App Store and Google Play.

If you’re not using a smart phone or prefer paper, you can pick up a paper floor plan and a Show directory for information on product categories and booth numbers.

And a few more tips to make the most of the 2020 AHR Expo:

  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • Take advantage of the Show floor’s less busy times: later in the afternoon and Wednesday, according to IEC.
  • Save time to explore the special Show sections, the Building Automation & Control Showcase and the Software Center.
