Artificial intelligence (AI) policy: ASHRAE prohibits the entry of content from any ASHRAE publication or related ASHRAE intellectual property (IP) into any AI tool, including but not limited to ChatGPT. Additionally, creating derivative works of ASHRAE IP using AI is also prohibited without express written permission from ASHRAE.

Acoustical Testing Requirements Updated in Standard 200

ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 200-2018, Methods of Testing Chilled Beams, defines laboratory methods of testing chilled beams to determine performance, specifying instrumentation, facilities, installation methods and procedures for determining the performance of chilled beams.

Changes from the 2015 edition include clarifications and revisions to the acoustical testing requirements, as well as verified test methods for induction ratio and water pressure drop.
