During the 2023 ASHRAE Winter Conference President's Lunch, ASHRAE recognized the ongoing support of the RP Campaign's Major Donors and several RP milestones.
Since 1959, ASHRAE has invested over $150 Million into research projects, grants and awards that further industry research, education, scholarship, and society activities.
The RP Annual Campaign reached several milestones in 2021-22. These milestones include:
- Raised an astounding $2.5 million! This is all due to the amazing teamwork of our RP Committee and volunteers all over the world.
- More than 4,400 ASHRAE members, businesses, and friends of ASHRAE made gifts.
- Two Chapters each raised over $120,000: Congratulations Rocky Mountain in Region IX (Taylor Reese) and Houston in Region VIII (Catherine Tinkler)!
- Gifts through RP helped to fund 64 ASHRAE Scholarships and 42 research projects.
The Benefactor, Platinum Circle, and Golden Circle Investors are the backbone of ASHRAE Research and the annual campaign that support ASHRAE’s many programs. Thanks to their annual investments of at least $30,000 for ASHRAE Benefactor, $20,000 for Platinum Circle and $10,000 for Golden Circle, ASHRAE can continue to be the industry leader in HVAC&R research.
